Summer Workshop #1 
Intro to Improv
 
Part one of our Summer Workshop Series, the Intro to Improv workshop will span 6 hours over two days (3 each evening) and will give you a complete understanding of what it takes to learn and perform improv. You will learn how improvisation can benefit you on a daily basis. This workshop will help boost your confidence, public speaking and ability to think on your feet. This will be done with a hands on approach that gets you up on your feet and having fun!
 
Where: ComedySportz Arena – 4476 Main St., Amherst, NY
When: July 21st and 22nd 2010 from 6 p.m - 9 p.m.

So, you think you've got what it takes. You want to play ComedySportz. Or maybe you want to hone your funny bone to impress the kids at the water cooler or the playground. Or maybe you just want to have as much fun as ComedySportz Playerz.

Great! We will teach you how. We have four levels of training plus the chance to play in a ComedySportz Recreation League, and — if you got the Right Stuff — play in the major league of laughter, ComedySportz.

All improv classes include a Fiverfer: five tickets to use as you wish. That's up to a $50 value!

Rookie League
Saturday Afternoons 3:00–5:30 PM
resuming in the fall of 2010

Rookie League is open to all interested. It is an 8 week class, with each class being 2.5 hours in length. The fee is $150 (remember, it includes a Fiverfer!)

 Intermediate Acting Class

Bob Insana, ComedySportz player and professional Actor/Director, will be offering an 8-week acting class starting Wednesday April 21, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the Arena. Classes will run for 8 consecutive Wednesdays, participants much be ages 16 or older, and some acting experience is necessary. Classes will focus on characterization and scene work.

The fee is $150 and includes a Fivefer Pass, good for five tickets to any ComedySportz or IMF show.
