ComedySportz is improvisational comedy played as a sport! (If you've ever seen Whose Line Is It Anyway?, you've got the general idea - except, with us, the points do matter!) Two teams of act-letes compete for the biggest laughs while a referee calls the fouls and gets suggestions from you, the loyal fanz.

Everything we do is improvised. We don't have scripts or pre-planned scenes. That's why a ComedySportz match wouldn't be possible without your suggestions. Just make sure your suggestions are clean, or the referee could call the "Brown Bag Foul" on you, and you'll end up wearing a paper bag over your head.

ComedySportz, found in twenty-two cities across the US and Europe, is light-hearted insanity that appeals to people from every walk of life. We provide clean, positive entertainment that is guaranteed to please even the toughest crowd. If you have a pulse, it's highly likely that you'll laugh until it hurts. If you don't have a pulse, seek medical attention immediately.

Buffalo ComedySportz has been around since 1993 (what took you so long?). Read about its history.

Performed every Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 7pm.

IMF is improvisational comedy without rules. You never know what you're going to see during an IMF show but, in general, this long-form improvisational style leads to longer, deeper scenes than the fast-paced, short-scened action found in ComedySportz.

There is no brown bag foul (or any other foul, for that matter!) during an IMF show, so we can only admit adults (age 18 and over).

Performed every second and fourth Saturday of the month at 9:30.

The Saturday Night All Skate improv jam isn't really a show at all. We invite anyone with any improv experience to come play with us. There will be pros, and rookies, and everyone in between. For $5, you can show up and just... have fun. We'll play shortform games, and try longform. Sometimes we'll do music or try new formats. Anything is fair game at the All Skate. You can come with ideas or just play around with other people's. You can come just to watch, if you want, but we'll probably talk you into joining us on stage for a bit.

Every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturday of the month at 9:30.
